ULTRA Tier Learning Agreement
Between Mr. Miranda Online and the Subscribing Parent/Guardian
1. Overview and Purpose
Mr. Miranda Online is a digital learning platform designed to support independent learners preparing for CAIE IGCSE and A-Level Mathematics and Physics exams. By subscribing to the ULTRA Tier, the parent/guardian agrees to the terms outlined in this agreement. This tier is intended for students seeking comprehensive support, and it is assumed that they are motivated and committed to their academic journey.
2. Parties to the Agreement
This agreement is made between Mr. Miranda Online and the individual subscribing to the ULTRA Tier, hereafter referred to as the "Parent/Guardian". This person must be the legal adult responsible for the student and the holder of the payment method used during enrolment.
3. Duration of the Agreement
This agreement remains in effect from the date of subscription until the conclusion of the student’s final CAIE exam (IGCSE or A-Level), or until cancellation by either party.
4. Services Included in the ULTRA Tier

Weekly group lessons (max. 10 students per subject) across the following subjects:

Mathematics Pure 1, Pure 3, Statistics 1 & 2, Mechanics

Physics AS, A2, IGCSE Core & Extended

Structured learning following a published Long Range Plan

Full access to pre-recorded video lessons and exercises per topic

Access to a community forum for doubt resolution and academic discussion

Recorded lessons available until exam day

Two formal progress reports per academic year (January & April)

Mock exams and marked assessments
5. Lesson Scheduling and Attendance

Lessons occur at fixed times and are not rescheduled unless cancelled by Mr. Miranda Online due to illness or emergency.

Students unable to attend a lesson can access the full recording, which remains available until the exam period ends.

Weekly lessons align with topics from the Long Range Plan; participation assumes prior study of the assigned material.

Additional unrelated questions may be addressed if time allows.
6. Parent Consent and Data Processing By enrolling, the Parent/Guardian confirms consent to:

The collection and processing of the student’s personal data for educational purposes

The recording and storage of lesson videos

The generation and communication of progress reports
This consent is confirmed digitally by checking an acceptance box at the time of enrolment. A formal signature is not required under EU GDPR regulations where active, informed consent is given digitally.
7. Payment Terms

Subscription is billed automatically each month on the date of initial enrolment.

Payment is handled via the selected method during enrolment (e.g., debit/credit card via Kajabi).

No refunds are issued once a monthly cycle has begun. Cancellation will take effect at the end of the current billing period.

All payments are processed automatically; late payments are not applicable.
8. Termination Conditions Mr. Miranda Online reserves the right to terminate the agreement and suspend access in cases of:

Disrespectful behaviour by the student or Parent/Guardian

Persistent low attendance

Complete lack of engagement or effort
Parents may cancel at any time. Access will remain available until the end of the billing cycle.
9. Code of Conduct and Intellectual Property

All platform users must interact respectfully and uphold academic integrity.

All content (videos, notes, exercises) is the intellectual property of Mr. Miranda Online and may not be copied, shared, or distributed.
10. Disclaimer of Results Mr. Miranda Online provides the structure, resources, and support necessary for exam success. However, student outcomes depend entirely on the effort, commitment, and responsibility of the learner. The platform does not monitor study habits or control external factors.
11. Governing Law This agreement is governed by the laws of Portugal. Any disputes arising from this agreement shall fall under the jurisdiction of the Portuguese courts.
12. Acceptance By checking the box during enrolment, the Parent/Guardian confirms that they have read and agree to this ULTRA Tier Agreement, and that they are authorised to accept these terms on behalf of the student.
